The web-based Crisis Information System (CIS) lowers the interoperability and information exchange gap between different stakeholders during large-scale events in the crisis and disaster management (CDM) domain. The provided functionality ensures an efficient data exchange workflow targeting different roles within the same organisation, inter-organisational teams involved in flood event as well as the affected or interested general public.

  • CIS enables efficient geo-referenced information sharing and documentation features targeting first responders and relevant CDM organisations
  • CIS offers an easy-to-use and role-based web frontend for document storage and access.
  • Search features and integration in legacy systems based on geographic locations and used standard formats ease the integration efforts.
